After months of sobriety and self-discovery, Hannah Laing is sharing the power of breathwork with her Dundee community on 15th January, raising funds for Change Centre Dundee.
For Hannah Laing, breathwork has been a game-changer in dealing with the pressures of touring. “Breathwork and the support of my people have been the main things helping me through all of this,” she says. “When my mind and body are racing, I know I can always come back to my breath. Change the breath, change how you feel.”
The workshop comes after a personal journey of sobriety, grief, and resilience. Laing, sober for three months, has played 28 shows while learning to manage performance anxiety and grief without alcohol. “Gigs have been uncomfortable, full of self-doubt, but each sober show builds resilience,” she says. “I’m slowly learning to trust myself without relying on alcohol.”
With limited capacity, most attendees will come solo, but the workshop promises a safe, supportive space to explore breathwork and wellbeing.
