SoundCloud is teaming up with elasticStage to let Artist Pro users create and sell vinyl records, with no upfront costs, no minimum orders, and complete control over their music.

Artists on the waitlist will get access to pick tracks from their SoundCloud profile, upload artwork, and submit their vinyl release. SoundCloud sets up a page to sell the record, and elasticStage handles production and shipping only when someone buys it. This means no leftover stock, no risk, and artists get paid for every sale.

Vinyl sales have grown over 300% since 2016, but high costs have kept most independent artists from joining the trend. SoundCloud CEO Eliah Seton says this partnership helps artists build sustainable careers by opening new ways to connect with fans and earn money.

elasticStage CEO Steve Rhodes explains that their on-demand vinyl tech removes the barriers that kept artists from selling physical music. Together with SoundCloud, they want to help musicians reach fans and grow their careers without risk.

The partnership launches with releases from artists like AM.RADIO, Blonde Maze, Diorvsyou, Kelcey Ayer, Raina Simone, and ships to over 90 countries worldwide.

This move is part of SoundCloud’s ongoing effort to provide tools that support artists. As vinyl continues to grow alongside digital music, this partnership makes it easier than ever for independent musicians to offer fans something real and collectable.
