PsyCare Ireland has been nominated in the Mental Health & Wellbeing category at the National Social Enterprise Awards 2026, recognising its work providing mental health and harm reduction support across the country’s festival and club communities.
Since launching its work in 2022, PsyCare volunteers have supported 2,371 people across 42 events, bringing accessible mental health support directly into nightlife spaces where conventional services may not always be readily available.
The nomination also recognises the 210 volunteers involved in delivering PsyCare’s work, alongside its staff, board, advisors and wider community.
The National Social Enterprise Awards nomination highlights the collective effort behind that work, recognising the volunteers and wider community helping to make mental health support more accessible across Ireland’s nightlife landscape.
As festivals and clubs continue to grapple with questions around safer spaces, drug-related harm and attendee wellbeing, organisations such as PsyCare are increasingly positioning care and compassion as an essential part of nightlife infrastructure.
