Irish-run, London-based queer party Club Rua has announced a new 12-month residency at EartH Kitchen, Dalston, supported by Arts Council England’s Supporting Grassroots Music Fund.

Founded by Irish DJ and producer Toraigh, Club Rua has built a reputation for ritual-led club nights that fuse club aesthetics with a distinctly queer, Irish visual language. The move to EartH Kitchen allows the collective to scale up while retaining the intimacy and aesthetic that define the project.

The residency launches on Friday 27 February, with Club Rua transforming the EartH Kitchen booth into an altar and the dancefloor into a shared ritual space. Drawing on distorted Catholic iconography and Celtic folklore, the night reframes devotion, ecstasy and excess through a queer lens.

The first lineup features Reenie, an electric and fast-rising newcomer who has just returned from their first Australian tour, alongside local favourites Holy C, DJ-CK and Toraigh.

“We want to create a space where queer and FLINTA artists and audiences feel seen and celebrated, and to champion DJs who are already pushing the scene forward and need more opportunities to grow,” says Toraigh.

By securing long-term funding and a consistent venue, the residency offers a rare opportunity for FLINTA artists to perform at scale within a supportive, community-led environment—addressing ongoing barriers to access in club culture while strengthening London’s queer nightlife ecosystem.

Tickets are available via Dice and Resident Advisor.
