Last week, Jazzy released a new mini-documentary, Dublin to the World, offering an intimate look at a summer spent balancing international touring, studio sessions and preparations for her debut album, Peace & Patience.
The film follows the Dublin artist as she moves between festival stages, backstage spaces and the studio, documenting her transition from featured club vocalist to a headline DJ and live act in her own right. Alongside performance footage, the documentary offers a more personal perspective on the whirlwind surrounding her rapid rise.
“This summer was one of the most intense and emotional times of my life,” says Jazzy. “Between finishing the album and playing huge shows every weekend, I wanted to capture what was actually going on behind closed doors.”
Despite her increasingly international schedule, Dublin remains central to Jazzy’s story. Dublin to the World sees her return to Crumlin, reflecting on the influence of her hometown and the role it continues to play in shaping her music and identity as an artist.
“Dublin will always be my foundation,” she adds. “This documentary shows how that energy stays with me no matter where I am in the world.”
Released ahead of Peace & Patience, due out October 23rd via Chaos Records, the documentary serves as a visual companion to Jazzy’s debut album, capturing the artist at a pivotal point in her career.
Dublin to the World is available to watch globally via Jazzy’s official YouTube channel.
Jazzy will also celebrate the album’s release with a personal appearance at Golden Discs on Dublin’s Grafton Street on Wednesday, October 28th. She will meet fans, sign copies of Peace & Patience and pose for photographs.
