Munich institution BLITZ has revealed the lineup for its final weekend, bringing a decade-long chapter to a close with four days of programming spanning Friday, July 31st through Monday, August 3rd.
The closing celebrations will feature appearances from Blasha & Allat, Fadi Mohem, Ogazón, Tasha, Ben Klock, Marcell Dettmann, and a host of additional artists, marking one last gathering inside one of Germany’s most influential club spaces.
In a statement shared alongside the announcement, the venue reflected on the community that shaped its identity over the past ten years.
“BLITZ was never something we created alone. This place only existed because of everyone who entered it. Every dancer, every member of staff, every artist and the teams behind them, as well as our core family, contributed to its beautiful magic.”
The club also thanked its community for a decade of support, describing the countless nights on the dance floor as the driving force behind its journey.
“We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming love and support we received throughout all these years. With all the effort involved in the past decade, we feel it was worth it. Every smile, every moment of happiness, every long night on the dance floor filled our hearts with joy.”
While the final weekend marks the end of BLITZ in its current form, the team suggested its story is far from over.
“By dancing like there is no tomorrow. We have spent all our lives on the dance floor, and no worries; the dance floor will surely remain our home! We are currently working very hard to continue our story. Because every end is just another beginning.”
The farewell weekend promises to celebrate BLITZ’s legacy while pointing toward whatever comes next, closing the doors on an era that helped define Munich’s contemporary electronic music landscape.
