Opium are at it again. This time around, they’ve announced another Dublin favourite, Maya Jane Coles, to the newly refurbished Wexford Street nightclub.

In a matter of weeks the venue have continued with the strong international announcements, with Todd Terry playing to a packed out venue last weekend, announcing Leeds legend Paul Woolford for a show this October 15 [event here], and now, Maya Jane Coles… The venue clearly mean business.

Maya Jane Coles is no stranger to the Irish scene, having played club shows all over Ireland, plus huge festival appearances at the likes of Forbidden Fruit and Life Festival over the years.

You can read our interview with Maya Jane Coles from March here.

As they put it themselves, He.She.They are a inclusive club collective “Can you remember when dance music culture was all about breaking down barriers rather than building them?  We want to create a place without prejudice; where people can be people… expressing their utmost individuality and creativity of their own characters, no matter what their age, race, background or sexual preference may be. It’s as simple as He.She.They.”
