A new platform called Exibeat is picking up where Aslice left off as they aim to tackle one of electronic music’s persistent headaches: how DJs discover and manage unreleased tracks, and how producers get fairly compensated.

In a statement, the team behind Exibeat outlined their first step: “one clean space for DJs and producers to share and discover unreleased tracks.” The platform promises to cut through the clutter of promo chaos for DJs while giving producers meaningful visibility and support.

“DJs get less promo chaos and one source of cool tracks. Producers get more visibility and real support from DJs who care,” the team explains.

The long-term ambition is to create a fairer, more connected electronic music ecosystem, where producers can sustain themselves financially and DJs can more easily dig and manage their collections.

The project was partly inspired by the closure of Aslice, a platform that championed fairer support for producers. Exibeat sees itself as continuing that mission, but with its own approach. “Streaming is literally broken for non-mainstream artists. When Aslice shut down, it felt like the last bit of hope disappeared… We’re building Exibeat with that same spirit,” the team said.

Exibeat is currently in its early stages, but the team says they’re determined to bring lasting change to a scene where many producers still juggle side jobs despite creating tracks that fill clubs and festivals.
