This week’s Mix Of The Week comes courtesy of Dave Shades aka Butt Rogers, who showcased an absolute masterclass in Berlin’s famous green bathroom. The Glaswegian came through with high octane blend of ghetto house, rave, electro, techno, hardcore, footwork and all other kinds of carnage, this is a real DJ at work Dave glides through genres with absolute ease, and showcases his skills behind the decks.

Horror Boogies Records boss man Dave Shades stepped into the booth of the infamous Hör Berlin earlier this week and supplied a cross genre massacre as he wizzed through an amalgamation of ghetto and rave soaked cuts at an alarming rate.

Dave has been a busy man as of late, playing across Europe with the Das Booty crew and under Dave Shades. The Glasgow native recently played at RSO Berlin, Noisily Festival, MOT London, Bangface and more. These show stand along side a string of appearances on Threads for Das Booty’s residency.

Dave is known as one of the most skilled DJs to come out of Scotland in recent time, showcasing real DJ skills and fearless selections the Glaswegian is a force to be reckoned with. His music has also seen releases on Das Booty, Power Vacuum Records, Coin Operated, and more. Dave also recently released a collab with fellow Scotsman Fear-E on Posh End Music.

Dave Shades appearance on Hör Berlin is exactly what you’d expect, swift, slick, chaotic and very ravey. Dave swifts moods, speeds and energies within the blink of an eye, and complete with a host of scratching, cutting and pitch shifts. This is a proper DJ at work.
