It could be argued that there’s no better festival stage in Ireland than Anachronica at Electric Picnic, more commonly known as the Rave In The Woods. Tucked away at the rear of the festival, the 10,000-capacity stage runs later than the rest, sitting beyond the security checks and becoming home to those who want to get down and dirty in the forest long into the night.
Every year, it’s soundtracked by a roster of local DJs, and this time around we’re showcasing DIEBYVEG B2B Charlotte Walsh, two of Ireland’s most exciting rising house DJs who took the mammoth stage by storm.
It’s a peak-time stage built for peak-time DJs, powerhouse selections only, designed to keep legs that have been trudging through the sludge all day still moving. The concoction of pumping house and garage from these two rising selectors was the perfect cocktail to keep the woods bouncing.
Ghetto house vocals, big speed garage wubs and subs, slippery proggy synth lines, jackin’ drums, filthy acid, soulful chords – need we go on?
