This week’s Mix of the Week comes courtesy of Mála Ádh boss Céilí, who delivers an hour of dizzying, tribal-adjacent techno for LN-CC.

Without question, Céilí is one of Ireland’s most underrated techno artists. It’s certainly not due to a lack of output—his decorated résumé includes shows at RSO Berlin, Griessmuehle, Fuse, The Cause, and regular appearances at London’s Corsica Studios. Beyond his performances, he consistently releases top-tier ‘90s-adjacent techno and speed-drilling, bass-driven UK techno through his label Mála Ádh, as well as imprints like Haven and even Ellen Allien’s BPitch. Yet, despite all this, he often seems to be overlooked in discussions about Irish techno.

His latest mix for LN-CC should put an end to that. Clocking in at an hour, it’s nothing short of timeless techno—raw, rugged, syncopated, and unapologetically intense. Céilí expertly builds tension, weaving eerie soundscapes into head-frying, percussive distortion. He blends elated, chord-heavy, almost singable techno with straight-up Mord-style, fight-club energy. In a scene where ‘90s and ‘00s techno is currently on trend, Céilí has been doing this long before it was cool—this is simply what he does best.

This mix is no-nonsense yet full of character. It’s not prim, not purist, and certainly not playing by the rules. Instead, it’s straight in, no kissing—hitting hard with precision and control, hammering through with his signature flair. And here, he does it brilliantly.
