This week’s entry to Mix Of The Week comes from Dublin’s Murchadh, who shares the first instalment of his new radio Tonal Value on Berlin station 90MIL Radio.

The rising DJ and producer delivers a captivating mix of tripped-out techno and bass-driven cuts featuring work from formative artists like Mike Parker, Oliver Ho, Jamie Bissmire, as well as contemporary talents such as Air Max 97, Decka, Ayesha, and more.

Murchadh strikes the perfect balance between spacey, hypnotic techno and futuristic UK bass, merging these seemingly opposing sounds into a metallic sonic landscape that blasts out of the UK’s bass-heavy scene and into the syncopated, minimal corners of techno.

He skillfully blends steppy, near-garage rhythms with relentless, hard-hitting cuts—sounds you wouldn’t typically dare release in a Bristol club, and similarly, bass-heavy tracks that would challenge even the bravest DJ in a heads-down Berlin club. Yet, everything flows seamlessly from one track to the next, creating a genuinely cohesive journey. While many claim their sets are “a trip,” this one truly is—a thrilling ride that defies boundaries and plunges deep into the abyss at breakneck speed.
