This week’s Mix of the Week comes from Dublin duo Northside Rhythm, who recently shared the recording of their set at Index Dublin last weekend while on support duties for Teedee.
The mix captures a full warm-up journey, gradually building from deep, rolling tech-house textures into more driving, soulful, and anthemic moments designed for peak-time energy later in the night.
Over the past few years, Northside Rhythm have established themselves as key figures in Dublin’s thriving house circuit. Their sound leans toward big-room, club-focused house music built for expansive sound systems and large dancefloors, rather than intimate settings. This approach has seen them become regulars across some of the city and beyond’s most notable spaces, where their selections consistently aim to connect atmosphere, groove, and energy.
Their appearances have included sets at Index, Centre Point, Outset Festival, and international outings at venues such as Eden Ibiza. Across these performances, they’ve developed a reputation for crafting sets that thrive in large, cavernous environments, where deep basslines and rhythmic percussion can fully unfold and drive the crowd forward.
Their most recent Index recording is a strong example of that identity in action: a continuous, high-energy session filled with tightly mixed transitions, wonky tech-leaning rollers, and flashes of Chicago house influence. There are also hints of a Hot Creations-inspired Ibiza vibe running through the selection, but everything is filtered through their own North Dublin perspective. The result is a cohesive, modern club sound that continues to gain attention and support from key figures within the wider electronic music scene.
