The young selector has quickly garnered a name for herself within the Irish techno scene. Sharp DJ skills and a mature ear for selecting records, have helped Shannen receive some high profile gigs since her club debut in 2019. Shannen has shared the stage with techno heavyweights such as, DVS1, Sunil Sharpe, Lag, Introversion, Inhalt Der Nacht and Parallx.
Having studied DJ techniques and music production in BIFE, under the guidance of Doug Cooney, Sunil Sharpe and DeFeKT. The young DJ has been learning and perfecting her craft for some time now.
Shannen’s mixes and gigs have been accompanied by various self releases which have landed on esteemed platforms such as Motz & Hate Lab. A keen ear for techno has helped the Bray native progress at a rapid rate.
Shannen’s debut on the acclaimed Hör Berlin was business as usual for the rising DJ. Shannen mixed through a varied selection of techno, through minimal driving tracks, funked up hardgroove, trance infused techno and some classic techno weapons for good measure. A well rounded mix with great diversity, an absolute treat to dive into.
