BD Festival makes its triumphant return on October 30th for it’s Day Of The Dead Edition 2022. The festival has announced two strong Irish act’s to kick off the festival’s lineup, blk. & Disfreq. Both act’s have had massive year’s and are highly anticipated by festival revellers.

Barn Dance Festival, better known as BD, is a staple in the Irish festival landscape, and draw’s huge attention as one of the countries only festival’s that braves the Autumn months. The festival’s Day Of The Dead Edition returns for the first time since 2019 and it’s set to be one of the biggest yet.

Kicking off the announcements is a double hitter of Irish heavyweights as the festival announce blk. & Disfreq. Irish act’s have been proving to be massively successful as of late, and becoming crowd favourites over international DJ counterpart’s who have somewhat dominated festival lineups over the years.

blk. has taken the world by storm in 2022, selling out show’s across teh country in record times, as well as becoming a viral sensation across a multitude of social media platforms. The youngster is on the back of a massive Electric Picnic show, and has just announced an Australian tour, it’s clear that blk. is making all the right moves as of right now, and it’s clear the sky is the limit for the Reboot resident.

Disfreq are the Donegal sibling sensation that have had a meteric rise to stardom in 2022. Their distinct sound has caught the eyes and ears of many leading names across the dance music spectrum. Following multiple releases on Patrick Topping’s Trick label, Solomun’s Diynamic imprint & Gorgon City’s Realm, the duo have quickly picked up heavy support trom Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones, Skream, Andrea Oliva, Eli Brown, Rebuke, Deborah De Luca, T78, Hi-Lo & many more! They bring their big room energy to BD Festival on October 30th.
