Research & Rathuas are giving 2023 a proper send-off as they join forces to ring in the new year at Dublin techno haunt, Cellar. The two powerhouse techno collectives curate a grass-roots lineup with music from IMO, Jammal, Dark Mavis, & Aeron XTC B2B Taint.
Following Rathaus‘s successful New Year’s Eve party at Cellar last year, the crew returns to the Dublin City basement. This time they team up with the ever-consistent Dublin techno party & label, Research.
The crews are backing local talent as they celebrate a strong year for dance music in Ireland, with a star-studded all-Irish lineup. From seasoned Irish techno slingers to electrifying newcomers, this is an all-encompassing celebration of Irish club culture at Cellar, a venue steeped in the values of supporting locals.
The lineup sees Galway’s Imo take to the Cellar following a juggernaut of a year, playing festivals and clubs across the country, bringing her energetic bouncing groove with her.
Fresh off his Research debut in October Jamaal joins the teamsheet, bringing a varied palette of techno from sun-soaked dub flavours to dark & grimy industrial, the youngster knows his stuff.
Ethereal Skies boss Dark Mavis returns to both Research & Rathaus, bringing a mind-bending selection of weird & wonky techno cuts, complete with a healthy dose of ghetto, electro and trance… mayhem in the best kind of way.
Research bosses Aeron XTC & Taint complete the bill, bringing decades of experience behind the wheel and a vast knowledge of all things techno. The pairing has played on the same bills as some of techno’s most formative DJs and boasts the skills and track selection to back up their vast CV of high-profile shows.
