As the summer festival season draws to a close and ravers returns to clubs, Index launch their reopening weekend with Chantel Kavanagh on Friday and T78 on Saturday. As Dublin’s largest venue for house and techno remained largely dormant for the summer months, it now embarks on a massive Autumn and Winter season which hosts some of the most desired act’s in dance music today.

This time last year, ravers, DJs and promoters we’re left in limbo wondering wether we would be dancing through the winter season due to Covid restrictions, but as we approach the height of the Irish club calendar in 2022 there is no doubt that dance floors will be packed to the brim with ravers from across the country. Index Dublin will get to host a full season in their newly refurbished club, and they’re bringing a host of renowned international and Irish talent to the venue.

Index Dublin have announced a massive Autumn season with the likes of FJAAK, Mella Dee, Yasmin Gardezi, X Club, Blawan, Skee Mask and more arriving at the venue over the coming weeks and months. The madness starts this weekend with Chantel Kavanagh & T78.

Chantel Kavanagh is known as one of the most in demand DJs in the Irish scene at the moment. Having sold out numerous shows and festivals across the country, the young selector is no stranger to rocking an Irish crowd. Bringing a broad palette of sounds to her DJ sets, you can expect house rollers, peak time rave and old school nuances. Support comes from two of Ireland’s most exciting house selectors Cody Wong and Eimear Gorman.

T78 arrives for his Irish debut on Saturday and he brings his classic big room techno brand to Index, with a touch of rave for good measure. T78 has a superb way of connecting with his audience and taking them on an intense musical journey with high energetic grooves, which never seem to fail. Support on the night comes from two of Ireland’s finest techno selectors Shannen Blessing & Billy Spike Illand.
