Dublin is gearing up to welcome a new club concept as Rave Mate Ireland, Immersiv3, and RAW challenge the norms of club culture with a curated, closed-door approach to their new party series.
Dubbed RESTRICTED: INVITE ONLY, the event will land at Dublin’s Racket Space on May 10th. It’s a carefully curated, closed-door event—an intentional move towards safe raving. There are no public ticket links, and no door sales. Access is strictly limited to those invited through a bespoke vetting process, with the team reaching out directly to collectives, DJs, and local nightlife advocates to extend personal invitations.
“Let’s be honest, sometimes an illegal rave feels safer than a night out at a mainstream club,” says Su, core crew member at Rave Mate Ireland.
A pre-event WhatsApp group with 70+ confirmed guests is already buzzing, serving as a digital ice-breaker lounge. From games and challenges to prize drops, the goal is to build a connection before the music even starts. As the organisers put it, the crowd is the safety net, eliminating the need for volunteers or external security staff. It’s a night where the community takes responsibility, ensuring a safer and more intentional rave experience.
