This mix is one of Paula Temple’s earliest gigs and it’s recorded live from a rave in Preston 27 years ago when she was 18 years old. Paula mixes through an assortment of records in the recording and the mixtape embodies the style she is consistently known for, a mix of raw relentless techno and rave.
Paula submitted this mixtape at the time to MUZIK magazine. Triumphantly she spent the day with Dave in his studio and was featured in the magazine which really kicked off the early day’s of her career in techno.
When Gabber Eleganza asked for a contribution to their archived series she dug deep and found a forgotten tape from long ago that had been lost but recently foun. Archivio this raw mix from a young Paula Temple back to life.
All proceeds to Paula’s archived rave tape will go towards Women On Web – an international online abortion service, providing access to safe abortion services.
