We feature new music from Alan Martin as he debuts on Tekno4life Records. The seasoned producer turns his heads towards rolling big-room sounds as he conjures a trance licked piece of dancefloor driven techno.

Alan Martin returns to our premiere series, further vindicating his prowess in the studio within recent times, however his journey into electronic music began much earlier. His path towards electronic music began in 2006, when his father introduced him to the Technics SL1200 and records. The youngster soon began experimenting with his home setup and released some quality mixes and podcasts. Alan then got his own set of Gemini turntables before transitioning to digital a few years later.

Alan began writing music around in 2009 using FL Studio. Early projects are laced with strong relics of the Irish rave scene, as Alan took influence from hardhouse, trance and rave. Alan later went down the house & techno rabbit-hole, drawing inspiration from the European scene.

We premiere Alan’s latest release ‘Dysfunctional’ on Tekno4life Records. Alan’s new offering is anything but dysfunctional, as he musters up a rolling groove that is made for big rooms and big sound systems. Locked 909 rhythms play off athematic trance inspired synth lines and ascending arpeggio lines. Alan pays homage to jackin’ Chicago grooves while also turning his eye to sounds of Dutch warehouses. A momentous track that we can expect to be heard at peak-time as we move into club season.
