Portuguese label Kokölò has been turning heads with stand-out releases since its inception in 2022, the label’s journey has been defined by definitive ecstasy-laced anthems from the anonymous Rave Child and Alfonsvs. The label has proved it’s a major player in the electronic music circuit as it’s regularly seen support from industry stalwarts such as Laurent Garnier, Peggy Gou, and Freddy, to name a few.
For Alfonsv‘s return to the label, he stirs up a sense of melancholia, reminiscing on happy memories both on the dancefloor and elsewhere. The seasoned producer presents a trio of techno tools that are handcrafted for the dancefloor.
We premiere ‘Trouble in Paradise’, a groove-infused ode to classic Detroit-style dub techno. The ethereal techno weapon is built on a foundation of punchy drums, glossy stabs, acid touches and heavenly pads – all masterfully enveloped in a warmly embracing distortion.
