David releases a 4 track EP with Istanbul based label, Scourge next month and we have the pleasure of premiering the Broad Body; a peak-time techno thumper, packed with unapologetic screaming synths, industrial grooves and harrowing bass.
DJ and producer David Oblivion hails from Dublin, Ireland. He began his career in 2021 with Filth Infatuated’s Pull Up The Poor, which was followed by releases on labels including Stay Up Forever, Bionic Orange, Scourge and his own vinyl imprint, Interruption.
While he is in his early days of production, his driving, high energy style of techno is gaining support from some big names within the techno community and it is clear that he will be one to watch out for in the coming years.
David’s return to Scourge see’s the budding producer showcase 4 dance-floor friendly, mesmerising, old school influenced techno weapons. This is a four track EP not for the faint hearted.
‘Broad Body’ calls on heavy kick drums, rolling percussive grooves and in your face synth lines. This is peak-time techno heaven.
