Across the imprint’s debut release, Vergilov twists her vocals into the sounds of traditional house and techno to form something entirely her own. It show’s an intimate and veracious approach to Gabriella’s work. The release is totally unique, and quivering transparent throughout the EP.
‘The Choices We Make’ is a deep and subdued trip through crawling synth lines, sloshing baselines and idiosyncratic vocal’s. It portray’s a personal and deep-seated look into Vergilov’s mind. Leaning on trippy delay swell’s and meandering breathe’s, the track gives a tribal feel through it’s chanting like vocal work, this already feel’s like an empowering techno anthem even in it’s infantry stages.
