Since Pooleys arrival on the electronic music scene in the early 1990s, the German DJ/producer has produced music on labels such as Force Inc, V2 Records, and his own Pooledmusic label, remixing for artists such as Deee-Lite, Carl Cox, and many others, and is one of the few artists to have been remixed by Daft Punk himself.
The second entry in a three-part series of music based around his studio, Ian Pooley’s ‘Studio A Pt. 2’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint sees the bonafide house legend deliver another choice selection of grooving hardware productions.
‘Version 2’ of JV Organ & Matrix twists and turns components of the original into a heads-down groover, with washed-out processing and stereo wizardry colliding with old dub methods. This is a proper groove infused tool from an electronic music legend.
