MUNK formally known as Dylan Griffin is a Cork-based DJ & music producer. The promising techno devotee is one of the many young talents arising from the Cork techno scene atm. With an impressive resume of past gigs across a multitude of venues in Cork City and festivals across the country, MUNK has been turning heads with his deep knowledge of 90s and 00s techno cuts.
MUNK is focused on the funk-driven style of techno, pulling influences from various corners of the techno spectrum, but mainly keeping his eye on tribal and swinging techno grooves. MUNK bounces between the new and the old effortlessly, finding the perfect balance of vintage warmth and modern power. Running Broadcast Events in Cork, the young promoter has been concentrating on bringing new and exciting acts to his hometown including Arta Fact, Aero, and Shannen Blessing.
The Cork producer’s inaugural track under his new monarch MUNK marks a fresh slate in his journey as a producer.
