One of the countries busiest producer’s and DJs Pagan is back with new music and this time the youngster presents a two track EP focussing on the harder ends of dance music as he flirts with techno. Previously known for his smooth blend of breaks, trance and electro, the Donegal native shows his range as he present’s a duet of techno rhythms.
Riding on the back of an impressive 2022, playing headline club show’s and some of the most prestigious slots on the festival circuit all around the country, Rossa Doherty’s Pagan alias is flying high right now. Recent mixes on Rinse FM & Bicep’s coveted Feel My Bicep mix series, have cemented Pagan’s name as an impressive selector with a vast knowledge for all things grimey, trancey and banging.
Pagan’s First Of The Season EP is comprised of two straight forward in your face emotive tools, Pagan dabbles in 90’s style techno grooves with classic off-kilter and euphoric synth lines that have become synonymous with his Pagan project. Pagan has also teased a remix from AK Sports which is due to drop next month.
Today we premiere After The Rain which show’s Pagan flex his hard edged guns as he delivers more straight-forward, four-to-the-floor rhythms, while meandering synths create a sound that is both epic and full. This is peak-time techno for the end of the night.
