Erika Andrea Murcia Ruiz, better known under her monarch RUIZ OSC1 is a Latin DJ and producer born in Bogotá, Colombia, but now based in Italy. She’s garnered a name for herself as a DJ that pays respect to the craft of techno, whether it be through her vinyl sets of all-encompassing hard-edged grooves from the golden era of techno or through her well-crafted productions that capture her brand of ‘Groovecore’.
The young DJ already boasts an impressive back-catalog of shows at some of techno’s most formidable venues including – Tresor, RSO, Rex, Industrial Copera, Gotec Club, and Vault Sessions to name a few. Releases on Hector Oak’s KAOS imprint alongside other outings on Frenzy, RAW, Bipolar Disorder & more have shown her skill in the studio.
