Sean Daly is a producer and DJ from Dublin Ireland who has been steadily climbing the ladder in the local scene through his time hosting on Phever Radio and experience playing throughout many local clubs in Dublin. His first notable release Funk With Me, a French-House synth orientated track, released on the Irish label Doubleu, kick started his career and paved the way for future releases.
Since then Sean has shown he is still forward thinking in developing his sound, while also paying respect to those before him, gradually gritting his sound and delving into harder-edged sounds, Sean takes his dancefloor experiences into the studio with him, displaying his appreciation for a wide spectrum of electronic dance music. Recent releases have shown a preview into further music progression, with a wider diversity in genres including breaks, hard groove and electro tracks. His electro edit of Akons – Smack That was notably featured in the Mixmag Impact series by Polands very own Monster DJ.
We premiere his latest track which comes from a recent deep-dive in the studio as Sean delved into a both techno and electro experiments. We feature ‘GO!’, a funk driven techno tool, that lends elements of 2-step garage while still tunnelling in a dizzying hypnotic fashion. This is the perfect midway between the sun-soaked after-party and the dingy warehouse.
