Dublin-based techno party Influence announces the birth of their label with a 7-track VA for free download that releases tomorrow. Today’s premiere focuses on Gaffa’s thrilling contribution to the compilation. He is joined by artists whose ideals lie within the harder techno spectrum such as Flores, Nat Type, Veseli and more.

Following a string of well-received parties across Dublin with Dyen, CLTX, AZYR, LUCIID, Åmrtüm, Nico Moreno and more, the Influence team now take the next step as they set up a record label. The collective’s label starts off on a strong foot with a 7-track various artists release with music from Piccolo, Alex Farrell, NAT TYPE, Gaffa, CADZOW, Flores and Veseli. The debut release feeds into the collectives’ lust for hard-as-nails techno, with influences steeped in industrial, psytrance, hard techno, hardcore and more.

Our premiere hones in on Gaffa’s fantastic release. The Dublin-based promoter, producer and DJ has cemented himself firmly within the Irish electronic music scene in recent years. Initially performing at club nights such as Toast and Konspiracy before forming the esteemed Dublin party Lost with a number of his college friends. He took this time to develop his sound both as a DJ and producer where he now finds himself most comfortable within the realms of gabber, hardcore, hard techno and schranz.

This has led him to obtain lucrative support slots for Sara Landry, OTTA and Mayeul as well as a closing slot in Cellar as part of a Hybrid Events takeover earlier in the year. Although Gaffa’s debut EP ‘Blast Master’ was just released last month, it is fair to say that this is just the beginning of his outstanding output production-wise. He flexes his production muscles brilliantly with this hard techno composition that draws emphasis on belligerent drums and a sensuous melody which really is reminiscent of TRYM’s harsh yet melodic sound but with that sleek Gaffa twist.
