Yesterday Peggy Gou released one of the most anticipated tracks of the summer ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’ on XL Recordings. The track has already been hailed the sound of the summer as it’s been soundtracking sunsets and sunrises across the globe.
One of the most renowned names in modern dance music culture artist, Peggy Gou returns with her first new music in nearly two years. Inspired by the eclectic house and pop classics that defined the Balearic sound, alongside the 90s and 2000s dance anthems and Peggy’s own inimitable contemporary club production.
“(It Goes Like) Nanana” is Peggy’s on the acclaimed XL Recordings. “(It Goes Like) Nanana” follows in the footsteps of previous Peggy Gou anthems such as ‘Starry Night’ & ‘I Go’, and is the first tune to be released from her highly anticipated debut album.
Speaking about the single, Peggy says: “There’s a feeling we all know but is hard to describe, that feeling of love, warmth and excitement when you’re surrounded by friends and loved ones and the energy speaks for itself. It’s difficult to put into words but to me it goes ‘nanana!“
