BD Festival returns to its home of Glendalough on October 29th for its Day Of The Dead Edition 2023. The festival flexes its guns with three mammoth headliners as Nina Kraviz, Mella Dee & Mark Blair join the festival alongside two of Ireland’s trailblazing local talents – Kaycee & Reception.

Barn Dance Festival, best known as BD in recent year, is a strong fixture in the Irish festival landscape, attracting huge attention annually as of the country’s only festivals autumn based festivals. The festival’s Day of the Dead Edition returns on October 29th following a show stopping iteration in 2022 which welcomed blk., Eliza Rose, 999999999, & more.

The October Bank Holiday estival now welcome’s it s door to two of the worlds leading names in house & techno respectively as Nina Kraviz and Mella Dee mark the first round of headliners. The two are Irish crowd favourites and have proved consistently over the years why they’re so saught after within the festival circuit.

Nina Kraviz (Нина Кравиц) is a major figure in the global electronic music scene.The Siberian-born singer, composer, songwriter, and DJ is well-known as an avid record collector and for her exceptional taste in unique electronic music, which inspired her to launch her label три.

Hit’s such as Techno Disco Tool, Donny’s Groove, Music Controls You & more have launched Mella Dee from grimy basements to headline festival slots. In recent years The Warehouse Music boss has become one of the most in demand names in dance music, receiving massive support from BBC, Circoloco, DJ Mag, Mixmag, and further. Various awards, accolades, breakthrough stat’s and more through the years and Ryan still champions his roots and gives back to other artists as much as possible.

Mark Blair is one of the most in demand DJs and producers hailing from the north of Ireland. Honing in on a jackin’ house sound that exudes feel-good energy. Blair has risen through the ranks, making a name for himself as the ultimate party starter. With tracks amassing over a million plays across various platforms and a string of high profile show, it’s easy to see why Mark Blair has become a favourite of Irish crowds. 

Two of Irelands most exciting up and coming talents Kaycee and Reception join the heavy-hitters on October 29th for one of the most anticipated dates in the festival calendar.
