Max HeyraudThis weekend, Berlin will host the third Rave The Planet parade, the successor to the Love Parade, with an estimated 300,000 people in attendance. “LOVE IS STRONGER” is this year’s motto, which promotes peace and the preservation of electronic music culture.
This year’s parade will take place on the eastern half of “Straße des 17. Juni”. In 2022 and 2023, 300,000 individuals joined together to dance for a better world. This year’s theme “LOVE IS STRONGER” couldn’t be more appropriate for the times we’re living in right now. Rave The Planet promotes peaceful, inclusive, and respectful interactions with others and our planet Earth.
The world-renowned parade will feature 30 floats, including BamMobil, Docklands/Fusion, MAAYA, Symbiotikka, and Verknipt (NL), as well as various acts and DJs. APHØTIC, Alle Farben, Bebetta, Cassy Raptor, Dr. Motte, Farrago, Isabelle Beaucamp, Mark Dekoda, Westbam, Simina Grigoriu, Tube & Berger, and 260 other internationally renowned and up-and-coming artists will fill the parade with sound from various music trucks (floats).
The Rave The Planet Parade is a safe space that values respect, community, self-expression, and freedom. Discrimination of any kind is not acceptable. The parade promotes zero tolerance for intolerance, including racism, sexism, ableism, queerphobia, and religious discrimination.
