Carhartt WIP announces their new collaborative nine-piece collection with legendary Berlin club & label, Tresor. The announcement follows Carhartt’s longstanding relationship with club culture & electronic music, notably releasing a collection with Detroit’s Underground Resistance.

Carhartt WIP and Tresor‘s joint nine-piece capsule collection and vinyl compilation are now available via Tresor’s web store, certain Carhartt WIP locations, Carhartt-wip.com, and select retailers and record stores.

The collaborative collection comes after Carhartt and Underground Resistance teamed on an apparel line in 2017, which included fur-lined winter jackets, hoodies, beanies, pockets T-shirts and denim pants. The American clothing company also worked with Moodyman in 2016, to release a previously unreleased 7-inch single.

The brand’s connection to dance music, particularly techno and house, stems from Carhartt’s hometown of Detroit, the birthplace of techno. As a result, the next logical step would be to collaborate with long-time Berlin techno-institution Tresor, a club and label that has worked closely with Detroit pioneers, releasing early works from Blake Baxter, Jeff Mills, Eddy Flashin Fowlkes, Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, and many more.
