Danielle Moore, Crazy P’s lead vocalist and frontwoman, died at the age of 52, the group confirmed. The group expressed its sorrow on Instagram: “We are devastated to announce the unbelievable and shocking news that our beautiful Danielle Moore has died in sudden and tragic circumstances.”

Crazy P confirmed on social media today (September 2) that Danielle Moore died last week in “sudden and tragic circumstances”. “This happened on Friday afternoon August 30th. We cannot believe the news ourselves and we know it will be the same for all of you.”

Crazy P formed in 1995, with Manchester-born Danielle joining in the 2000s. Danielle has become one of the most recognisable female vocalists in UK dance music, having spent the last two decades singing with Crazy P. Moore was instrumental in many of the bands hits from ‘Like A Fool’, ‘Heartbreaker’, ‘Scrap The Book’ and more.

The band wrote “She gave us so much and we love her so much. Our hearts are broken. We need time to process that this has happened. Danielle lived a life driven by love compassion community and music. She lived the biggest of lives. We will miss her with all our hearts.”
