Matthew Flanagan better known as DeFeKT yesterday released his live set at Dublin’s 3Arena on St.Patricks Day as part of District 8 & MCD‘s collaborative show with BICEP. The show will live in the history books of Irish dance music events as it marked the first all-Irish electronic show at the seminal Dublin venue the 3Arenna formally known as The Point Depot since 1995.

The set marked a special moment in DeFeKT’s career as the Portlaoise native had the opportunity to play to a crowd of 13,000 on a monumental day for Irish electronic music. DeFeKT who suffers from MS (multiple sclerosis) disease can no longer travel and gig as frequently as he likes, so this show was a special one for multiple reasons.
