Max HeyraudCork-based collective, DOLLHAUS, hosted an all-day takeover of Project Radio earlier this month with an all-star roster of Irish female techno artists. The takeover hosts mixes from DOLLHAUS founder, Taureen, alongside, MEDA, Emmie, Mejmi, Tamisya, Ayolxi, and more.
DOLLHAUS has been paving the way for inclusive techno events in Cork. Taureen, the founder, has been arranging all-female lineups, providing a platform for Irish female techno artists to grow, connect, and exhibit their talent.
The party’s most recent endeavour saw it take over the Scottish airwaves with an all-day takeover of Project Radio. The all-day extravaganza included some of Ireland’s top female talent with a variety of mixes in the techno sphere.
The all-day showcase featured mixes by Proncess, Hooch, DJ Scenic, Emmie, Tamisya, Jenten, Ayolxi, Mejmi, Taurean, Yours Truly, Meda, and Aoise. The broad takeover spans all corners of the techno terrain, from the deep and hypnotic layers in sets by Mejmi, Aoise, and Ayolxi to the high-octane power hours of Yours Truly, Meda, and Emmie. This is a true showcasing of female-identifying talent on the island of Ireland.
