News: Dublin Has A New Beer Garden Dedicated To House Music

The Universe Underground crew have teamed up with the management of Hynes Bar to present a new haven for house music on Fridays in Dublin. The TUU crew have been busy since the beginning of the summer hosting some Ireland’s finest selectors in a newly revamped beer garden, just minutes from the city centre in Stoneybatter.

Taking on a new venue venture at the beginning of the festival season can be tricky to say the least but so far after a steady flow of music enthusiasts on Fridays, a full house for 3 days in a row at the Stoney batter festival and a sell-out event with the research crew last month its safe to say this venue has serious potential to fill in the gap in an ever declining supply of music and cultural venues in Dublin 

In years gone by Dublin has lost a host of music venues, from bars, pubs, theatres, clubs, and more. The capital’s musical identity is under serious strain, and while we make use of what is on offer, sometimes we must look outside the box.

So when Local DJ/ promoter Pauly Doyle (TUU) recently came across Hynes bar the initiative was taken by new manager Natasha O Flaherty to start delivering house music grooves every Friday as a trial run for the summer and things have been running smoothly and consistently since then. Times range from 6pm to 12.30 inside the pub and outside in the beer garden so the space is the perfect setting for getting in the mood before the clubs start or if you just fancy a few drinks and some quality music.

This Saturday TUU will be collaborating again with the Research crew for their last day party of the summer which is headlined by Cait, one of Ireland most exciting DJ’s of the past few years. Tickets are 70% gone so don’t sleep on this as the weather is set to be excellent this saturday.

After The day party, there will be full lineup of DJs to get down and check out every Friday after the summer has ended and we move back into the club season so watch out for announcements TUU will have the perfect sound for your pre-club drinks. Hynes also have their one year anniversary under new management on the 27th of August so be sure to go down and check out the vibe.
