Woozy boss and co-founder of Skin & Blister, EMA, has announced she will make her debut at the fabled Berghain in Berlin next month. The Dublin DJ joins Berlin-based party Reef for their residency at Berghain. EMA will throw down in the main room alongside dBridge, Lee Gamble and Darwin, while Djrum, NVST, Toma Kami and ESPOSITO hold down Panorama Bar.
EMA has enjoyed a busy few months gigging as of late with some standout shows at Electric Picnic, Printworks, Corsica Studios, fabric, The Cause and more. The Bray native now returns to Berlin to make her debut at the illustrious clubbing institution, Berghain.
“This opportunity means the world to me. To get the call up from Darwin, someone I’ve so much admiration for really helped me with my confidence as a DJ. It’s so easy to have so much self-doubt in this mental industry (I’ve had too many of these moments) but this invite made a lot of that evaporate. I never thought I’d be playing Berghain let alone playing wubs on that system!? So grateful for all the pals who have said they are going to make the trip over from Ireland and afar.
