Fuinneamh Festival has announced its next headlining act, Funk Assault. The Berlin-based techno duo join international heavyweights Dax J, DJ Assault, Miss Bashful X DBBD and Steffi on the 14th & 15th of September.
Funk Assault is a duo project featuring DJs and producers, Chlär and Alarico. Their music is a force to be reckoned with, blending the tribal rhythms, and meticulously crafted grooves of Chlär’s influence with the raw powerful sounds of Alarico’s signature sound.
Their forward-facing approach to live performance sees the pair use 6-8 CDJs and 2 mixers and with a mixture of their own unreleased music, provide a truly immersive experience, as the duo creates a unique sonic landscape, keeping the energy high while also demonstrating their skill and dedication to the craft f DJing. Alarico and Chlär, are two promising newcomers to the scene. Releases under notorious labels. Unique and innovative sounds, with a focus on gritty, organic, if not bionic soundscapes wrapped in tribal and soulful grooves.
