Berlin’s CTM Festival returns for it’s 25th anniversary from January 26 to February 4, 2024. Under the theme »Sustain,« CTM highlights the current state of experimental and forward-facing electronic music, from heart racing dance-floor rhythms to shared moments of creative intimacy at various Berlin venues across Berghain, radialsystem, OXI, RSO.Berlin, and Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.

This years edition sees CTM host a focus on artists from Ireland, weaving collective sounds and stories from the country thanks to the Zeitgeist Irland 24 initiative by Culture Ireland and the Embassy of Ireland in Germany. Zeitgeist Irland 24 aims to showcase Irish talent to German audiences throughout 2024.

From psychedelic folk explorations to a club night focused on underground music, the focus on Ireland will also engage several artists within the festival’s daytime program via a workshop and talks. Within the first part of the festival are two concerts by artists who have been diving deep into Irish idioms and folklore for inspiration in creating dark and sometimes mournful walls of sound.

The Irish focus includes apperances from Julia Louise Knifefist, Moundabout, GASH Collective Club Night with Baptist Goth, Americhord, ELLLL, ALYXIS, Lolz, Eliza b2b Maeve O’Neill, presented with transmediale, One Leg One Eye, Or:la (IE/UK), and Shampain (IE).
