Earlier this morning, Belfast club night The Night Institute announced it would be hosting its final party at Ballyhackamore Working Men’s Institute, better known to the club community as The Hack Club.

The venue opened in 2018 in East Belfast and expanded the city’s club scene beyond the central hub and into the suburbs, fostering growth in unconventional spaces. Reflecting on its impact, The Night Institute shared via Instagram: “A little part of Belfast club history was made in that top floor, creating some unforgettable scenes.”

The Night Institute joined the space at a vital juncture, becoming members and supporting the venue in a mutually beneficial collaboration. The Ballyhackamore Club opened its doors, enabling the upstairs, TNI room to grow.

Reflecting on their time, TNI shared: “We’ve been grateful to populate the club with our friends and extended family, throwing wild, sweaty parties that will always hold a special place in our hearts.”

As the venue prepares for a refurbishment, this Saturday’s farewell event promises to be a send-off for a legendary space. “We want to see all our friends under the red lights one last time,” TNI said.
