Ireland’s first vinyl pressing plant, Anthem Vinyl, is now operational in County Kildare.

The facility houses two pressing machines and will initially employ around 12 staff, with plans to grow the team as demand increases. The launch marks the return of vinyl manufacturing to Ireland following the closure of Dublin Vinyl in March last year.

Anthem Vinyl will offer a full suite of pressing services for both independent and major labels, working with clients both in Ireland and internationally. The company will also manage in-house fulfilment, including orders placed through Bandcamp and artist websites.

The plant’s first release comes from Irish singer-songwriter Declan O’Rourke, whose album Since Kyabram is being reissued for Record Store Day in Smart Vinyl format—complete with a QR code linking to exclusive digital content.

“At Anthem Vinyl, we’re dedicated to bringing the timeless art of vinyl pressing to life with precision, passion, and an unwavering commitment to quality,” the company said. “Every record we press not only sounds amazing but is a tribute to the artistry of music—and a step toward a greener future.”
