The Irish takeover continues, with three of the country’s top exports featured on the EA Sports FC 25 soundtrack. Electro-pop duo 49th & Main, soulful vocalist Maverick Sabre, and post-punk legends Fontaines D.C. will represent Ireland on one of the year’s most anticipated video game soundtracks.
The inclusion of these artists is yet another victory for Irish artists of late. EA Sports’ soundtracks have always featured emerging artists, including past Irish artists – Outsider, Inhaler, JyellowL, Chris Kabs, and others. The game remains a significant platform for both emerging and established artists.
The latest 100-plus track compilation is also a major win for dance music. The EA Sports FC 25 soundtrack boasts a stellar lineup, with big names like Overmono, Charli XCX, Jamie xx, Disclosure, red Again and Justice leading the charge. Ahadadream, Bklava, Nia Archives, and Tiga also feature among others.
The soundtrack marks a significant shift from its usual indie focus, featuring a roster of high-profile artists. This year’s game boasts some of the biggest names yet, including Ice Spice, Coldplay, and Skrillex, making it a standout compilation in the series’ history.
