Max HeyraudIrish DJ Jazzy makes chart history as she becomes the first Irish Female Artist to hit #1 on the Spotify Ireland Top 50 Charts. The milestone comes through her debut single ‘Giving Me’, knocking Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding off the top spot this week.
Up & coming producer Irish DJ and producer Jazzy has become the first Irish Female Artist to hit #1 on the Spotify Ireland Top 50 Chart since the streaming platform was launched in Ireland in 2012. The Irish-Jamaican newcomer single “Giving Me” was released via CHAOS Records in March 2023.
Following the single release in March, it has been streamed over 1.7 million times in Ireland and has been certified PLATINUM status. The dancefloor focussed track sees Jazzy relinquishing the responsibility for the hurt experienced from a past relationship and getting back out on the town after having healed from all “the sunshine in the rain”.
Jazzy is well-versed in the world of club music. Jazzy has worked on significant collaborations with the likes of Irish dance duo Belters Only on their hit singles “Make Me Feel Good” and “Don’t Stop Just Yet” which have already been turning heads on the international scene.
