Legendary DJ and producer Fatboy Slim touches down in Derry City for the very first time in just 17 days as he christens Jika Jika‘s new warehouse venue. The British dance music icon plays the ‘party of the century’ on October 21st at Unit 8 Warehouse, Pennyburn Industrial Estate, BT48 OLU.
Norman Cook, better known as Fatboy Slim, is a pivotal figure in the history of contemporary electronic music. The British producer has established a treasured career over the years, best known for tracks like Right Here Right Now, Praise You, The Rockafeller Shank, Weapon Of Choice, Star 69, Gangster Trippin, and many more. Norman’s most infamous performance as a DJ came in 2002 when he performed at Brighton Beach in front of an estimated 250,000 people, which remains a pinnacle moment in UK dance music culture to this day. In 2023, Fatboy Slim is still rocking stages across the globe and remains a revered name in electronic music.
