Irish Rail has unveiled its Christmas and New Year schedule, featuring extended late-night DART and commuter services, with some trains running past 2:00AM. The timetable will help connect the country during this Christmas period making club culture more accessible.

Late-night DART and commuter trains will run on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays leading up to Christmas, from December 5-7, 12-14, and 19-21. Services are also planned for New Year’s Eve after midnight to help attendees at celebrations throughout Dublin. Notable late-night departures include:

00:30 and 01:30 from Dublin Pearse (all stops to Howth).

00:35 and 01:35 from Dublin Connolly (all stops to Greystones).

00:20 and 02:05 from Dublin Pearse (all stops to Maynooth).

23:55 and 01:58 from Dublin Pearse (all stops to Drumcondra and ParkWest to Kildare).

Rail services will be suspended entirely on Christmas Day and St. Stephen’s Day, with revised timetables in effect from December 24 to January 5. Travellers should take note of earlier last departures on Christmas Eve and reduced services on several days, including New Year’s Day.

Special late-night trains will depart after the New Year’s Eve festivities in Dublin, ensuring safe transportation. The final details will be announced closer to the date.
