Live & Electric is set to host one of the most forward-thinking club events in Dublin this year, bringing a fully live lineup of techno artists to The Sugar Club as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival. Netherlands-based maestro, Analog Kitchen will headline the event, with support from Greg Oleksevic, Sheehy, DJ-Mav, and Papal States.

This Saturday, Live & Electric will be substituting DJs and turntables for a fully live techno event at Dublin’s Sugar Club. The event will be the official late-night opening party for the Dublin Fringe Festival, as the team brings their unconventional approach to techno showcases to the forefront.

Analog Kitchen touches down in Dublin from Amsterdam for his debut appearance in the Irish capital and he’s bringing a unique, unfiltered approach to techno with him. His hardware approach sees him create an immersive and unique tapestry of sound entirely live from his extensive live setup.

The event begins at 9.30 p.m. and features multiple acts on the venue’s large stage, challenging the traditional club hour format. The team is transforming the room with audiovisuals, led by lighting engineers, and custom projections onstage. The party begins immediately and builds in intensity, culminating in Analog Kitchen’s unique ability to deliver the goods late into the night.

Analog Kitchen is a Rotterdam-based live hardware artist with a strong reputation for championing live techno performance. He is also known for his popular YouTube channel, where he discusses and creates videos about almost everything live hardware dance music-related.

Greg Oleksevic is an Ireland-based DJ, known for his fast-paced, hypnotic, and murky brand of techno. With over 20 years of experience he has played at major clubs and events both locally and internationally. A passionate advocate for techno culture, Greg continues to contribute to the scene, always striving to create the perfect event where music, lights, and crowd energy align.

Rising Kildare native Sheehy joins the lineup, bringing his new live set to The Sugar Club. As a member of the HRLA Collective, he continues to push the boundaries of his craft, pursuing analogue dance music through live performances and record mixing. Sheehy is a future talent, having performed a slew of gigs around Dublin and holding onto a wealth of unreleased music.

Mav (she/her) is a Dublin-based DJ, producer, and live techno performer with roots in rock and metal. She combines aggressive, hypnotic grooves with minimal melody, influenced by industrial, goth, EBM, and aggrotech. Mav sees music production as both an escape and a means of processing intrusive thoughts. She is also committed to increasing queer representation in the technology community.

Papal State is a multidisciplinary music artist who specialises in live techno.聽His approach reveals an unfiltered and frenetic environment in which the Papal State strives for controlled chaos. His live performances are distinguished by raw, unfiltered energy that knows no boundaries, from Aphex-kissed synth sequences to hammer-style kick drums.
