Tengu has announced Or:la as their new resident for the upcoming spring season. The Derry native will take over the residency from February to April with three specially curated shows at the Dublin City venue, with appearances from Small Crab and Pariah, as well as an all-night session to close up the residency.

Tengu have just announced their latest residency, with DJ, producer, and Céad label boss, Or:la, taking over the venue from February to April. Or:la follows Sunil Sharpe and Sally C, who held down residencies in Tengu last year.

Or:la invites Dublin-based Small Crab in Febuary, with releases on Paryia Records and Left, Right & Centre alongside playing alonsgide Rhyw and Mor Elian, we can expect a slippery trip through forward-facing bass music. The second show see’s Or:la invite Voam co-founder Pariah to the Tengu booth, the UK producer is hailed as one of the most dynamic club producers in contemporary electronic music, boasting illustrious releases under Karenn and Persher with Blawan as well as his solo ventures which continue to push the envelope of techno and bass music. The final show comes in April as Or:la goes the distance for a four hour trip in Tengu on the 13th of April.

Thanks to her versatility as a producer and her refusal to be pigeonholed, Or:la has achieved a number of accolades, including a residency at Manchester’s Warehouse Project, a BBC Radio One show, and the title of “Best DJ” from DJ Mag. The Derry-native has also showcased her craft at festivals and nightclubs throughout the world.
