Ponyhawke, one of Belfast’s most cherished queer party collectives, is celebrating nine years of creating inclusive, curious, and free-spirited events. This Saturday, founders Maz and Dillon will play all night long, sifting through the tracks that have defined Ponyhawke’s past and the ones shaping its future.
This Saturday at Ulster Sports Club, Ponyhawke celebrate a milestone 9th birthday showcase, featuring founders Maz and Dillon playing an all-night journey set. The ninth birthday party is strictly ticketed, with no door sales. Doors open at 10:30 p.m., with tickets available here.
Reflecting on nine years of hosting open and adventurous club shows, the Ponyhawke team has announced plans to change direction in 2025. After nearly a decade of monthly parties, they’ve announced a quarterly schedule, which will coincide with their annual Pride celebration. This change aims to ensure the party’s longevity and quality while also easing the challenges of promoter life.
They wrote via Instagram “Thank you to everyone who has attended. You’ve no idea how much you all mean to us, and I hope you feel the love in the room every time you come party with us.”
