SoundCloud Store will allow a small number of Next Pro artists to create special products for their fans with minimum work, allowing them to focus on their craft while generating revenue beyond streaming.
Under the store’s existing conditions, artists can submit a design for a retail item and have SoundCloud make mockups of the product for them. The firm will then make the items, transport them, and manage social media promotion. As things stand, SoundCloud will not profit from gear sales, with all proceeds going directly to the artists.
The SoundCloud Store also offers the Essentials Collection, which includes SoundCloud-branded items that allow fans to demonstrate their support for their favourite music platform. This collection has a variety of high-quality goods such as t-shirts, hoodies, caps, and more, all created in SoundCloud’s distinctive style.
